Kartsevo Goldfinch is a promising dressage stallion with powerful movements and great pedigree.

His sire Jazz preferent produces matchless offspring and continues to influence dressage horse breeding with his superior genes. Numerous Jazz offspring are Grand Prix competitors, among which Jerich Parzival, ridden by Adelinde Cornelissen, is undoubtedly the most famous: the London 2012 Olympic silver medallist, he won Europe Championships (2009 and 2011) and took World Cup (2011). Jazz’s offspring always excellent show themselves on inspections and competitions for young horses.

Goldfinch’s dam Claire L is by Lingh (s. Flemmingh preferent), whom Edward Gal competed in the Grand Prix for many years. Under Gal, he placed second twice in the World Cup final and served on the Dutch team in the Olympic Games at Athens.

The third generation of Goldfinch’s dam-line features the top sire Ferro, who represents the great horses of dressage breeding.

This outstanding pedigree combined with the excellent quality of the stallion seems promising for modern breeding of superior horses.

In his dressage career, Kartsevo Goldfinch under Evgeny Sharangovich won several CDIYH in Russia and 3 years held the title of Russia National Champion — in 2016, 2017, and 2018. He represented Russia at the 2018 WBFSH World Championships for Young Horses in Verden, Germany, where he finished 11th in the Small Final with 72.346 %.

Sold to Andreas Helgstrand, Denmark, in June 2019. Then to Canada.

Debuted in Grand Prix with 68 % under the saddle of Pia Fortmuller in 2020.
